Our story begins in New-Mexico with aUpdate: Summer of 2000, During a "normal" inspection in Downtown Portland, The owner of Bug Busters Pest Control Service discovers what he has "only heard of" before...
Luckily Dan's assistant was with him to "snap" these photo's (Note: Our apologies for not having "color" photos, however "black & white" film is normally used on inspections to document Pest activity / damage).
Various "Sprays" were attempted but NOTHING would even slow these HUGE ants down...
After receiving an "OK" from Governor Kitzhaber, The National Guard attempts to "deal" with the Ants...
Specialist are flown in, and after further consultation with Dan at Bug Busters a "plan" is implemented...
The Crew at Bug Busters volunteers to "go in" (The FATE of the Planet Hangs in the Balance...)
This is one of the last photographs taken by the Staff Photographer before he was "lost" to one of the Giant Ants (Note: A "Trust Fund" is being setup at the local branch of Bank of America for his Family...)
